Turrican 2 AGA (PC-DOS conversion) - Released!

For those that have not read the development thread, this is a rewrite from scratch of the Turrican 2 PC-DOS version for AGA Amigas. 24bit/256 colours, original music/sounds. All levels plus various things that were missing in the DOS version have been reinstated (missing parallax, animations, waterfall effects, etc.)

A variety of controls options are available. Floppy, WHDLoad and A500 Mini versions are provided. And there are even some new secrets to find.

Floppy version requires 2MB Fast RAM. For the WHDLoad version, 8MB is recommended but it could work with less if you disable preload.
v1.1 contains CD32 ISOs which require 4MB of Fast RAM.

And, yes, you can choose to use the Amiga Player sprite or the PC-DOS one.

Special thanks to ScHlAuChi who in the last few months dedicated a lot of time to providing invaluable testing, feedback and suggestions to give it the final polish it needed and ensure it is faithful to the original.

Just tried the floppy version and you start with 99 lives and 999 time that doesn't tick down. Also the score is maxed out. Will this be fixed or is that how it is supposed to be?

That sounds like one of the old test builds. Did you get it from https://sonicslothgames.itch.io/turrican2aga ? Does it say v1.0 on the very first screen when the game boots up?

Sorry, my bad. Saved it to the wrong folder and started the old version instead.
