Magic64 Full Version Or Key File
 

;) Hi im new here....and im looking for full version or keyfile of Magic64 emulator for the Amiga. Where can i find this emulator?
I have the shareware version but i can only play it for 10 mins. My favorite game is Mr.do...and i want to play it on my Amiga.

Someone from the german board also went to this mess once and tried hard to figure out the current location of the author to be able to contact him.

And the e-mail address obviously doesn't work anymore.
I know there are some purists here who don't wanna hear about uploaded keyfiles, but this should be an exception because there's really NO WAY to get hold of him any longer.

Furthermore, you don't know if the magic64.de really belongs to a MagiC64 topic or is yet another C64 site ...

There is an amiga version, shareware or something. Pretty good nonetheless. You should get that instead.

Amiga Power had a version of Mr Do, called "Bob's Magic Garden", on one of their coverdisks. Look for AP coverdisk 39 - it also features Gravity Force 2 and Trick or Treat, making it one of the best coverdisks any magazine gave away.

I downloaded Magic C64 1.81 from Aminet, but it doesn't work. Error missing library files it says when I try to load it? Anyone able to get this version working?

Did you try looking for an older version to see if it throws the same error message? Which library is missing and did you try finding the missing library?

I tried version 1.2 and that works fine. You don't get any sound in this shareware version. Version 1.81 doesn't say with library is missing. Very odd. Here's the url:

SnoopDos is a pretty good programme, never heard of it before. Well MagiC64 1.81 seems to want a file called cybergraphics.library. So I put that into LIBS and it still doesn't work. :(

This one seems difficult to please. ;)

If it asks for the cybergrafx library, it means it's trying to load the program in a videocard mode or something. Try selecting your videomode to a PAL or NTSC one and see what happens, afaik MagiC64 is not CGX-specific.

Hi all, Im deseperate to find a key or register version of the exellent Magic64 please any one have a registered version of this C64 emulator For Amiga??? I also can paid for one key or registered version, what I see is the owner who made the emulator there is no more support and cant Registered any more.

Unfortunately, MagiC64 doesn't work very well on Apollo Core V4+ SA, neither VICE for AmigaOS 3 or AmigaOS 4 on the AmigaOne X5000, so I am forced to use my real C64 with Tapecart SD and SD2IEC. SD2IEC is as slow as real 1541, but the speed of Tapecart is very nice.

There is a similar issue with a C64 emulator for PowerPC Apple Macintoshes - Power64, where people want to register, but can't reach the author for keyfile and it times out after 10 minutes.

I use Frodo 2.4 on V4SA and works very well !
