New Posts Notifications & Double Lines Issue
 

It's been a few days i don't receive notifications for new posts in threads anymore. They are visible in user cp but i get no email.
Nothing appears to have changed on my side... What is happening ?

I haven't received any emails from EAB (subscribed threads and private messages) since the 24th of April. I've double checked junk etc. I -think- all my settings are OK.

Any suggestions?

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've received the regular mails from EAB in a little while either.

Edit: Is anyone actually receiving their subscribed threads/private messages emails, or is it just a few that aren't? I'm on a gmail address if that helps to narrow the issue down at all.

Okay, there was one error into SMTP configuration and internal whitelist, it should be better now :)

No, nothing yet. I'm probably on the blacklist for bad guys or arcor.de is on the list for suspect providers ... ;) Maybe, I should check my email web interface whether there is something like spam in the pipeline blocking the output.

I've heard other people mention this, someone mentioned tapatalk is not updating threads and they have to manually clear their browser cache in Chrome. It's working for me though, on a desktop OS.

I have noticed I have this problem too. Also, if I put double spaces in a post, say between two sentences, it removes them, and if I put in a blank line, it doubles or triples them...

It also happens when creating PMs...

Unfortunately RCK said there doesn't seem to be a fix :sad

Lately I've found that my posts on eab.abime.net add one extra empty line for each 'enter' I add. So I get two lines of empty text between paragraphs instead of just one.

Does anyone else have this problem?

And, more importantly, is there a fix/workaround known?


I'm asking because I've edited a whole bunch of posts I made recently directly after posting them to remove all the extra lines.
