Having trouble converting certain SPS images to ADF
With some of the more recent dumps available, attempting to convert them to basic ADF via my established conversion method (WWarp and a script ;)) causes WWarp to spit out a "CAPSLockTrack failed" error on every track, resulting in a 0-byte file.
Is this some kind of new protection layer? =[ |
What 'certain' images?

To name but a few....
Slayer (#3074) Slayer (Budget) (#3075) The Spy Who Loved Me (Superheroes) (#3093) Strider II + Indy Last Crusade (#3092) Viz: The Computer Game (#3030) I'll list any more I encounter. |
Why don't you just insert the disk into DF0: in WinUAE and run DIC to make the ADF file? Seems a bit pointless to convert them via WWarp.
Some of the latter images (and those IDs are all rather high) probably require the v4 version of the library that (last I checked anyway) wasn't available on the Amiga side. |

This has nothing to do with any source debate, but more with the fact that we simply lack the time and manpower to do this atm. Besides, and not meaning to upset anyone, the userbase using the lib on the Amiga is rather small compared to e.g. Windows. That's why the focus is on the Windows version first...
