Cyber Paint, Atari ST. King of the paint programs

Anyone who has used Deluxe paint on the Amiga and ignored the superior Cyber Paint is a lost puppy. Shame that it did not get as much use due to being on an Atari ST. Look at this cool video here.

Shoonay 02 April 2009 08:47

I can't stop laughing after hearing his main argument: "It's color! ... color's important... " :lol
(No shit, Sherlock? ;))

TCD 02 April 2009 08:50

Hey, for the ST dudes colour wasn't naturally... :lol

Excuse me guys, but realize that this dude is very cool.
Also, poor guy lost how many disks on his Amiga?

Jim Kent has done lots of good with his life...look here.

You will hang me on a hook for this but ST is not bad machine. But ST for graphics? No.
I am tolerant in this case, its five oclock in the mornig there! :)

Shoonay 02 April 2009 10:32

Oh, you know Freddy how things are with Atari's on an Amiga board, dontcha? ;)

Shoonay I am neutral and fairy guy. ST is good machine. But not for graphics when you have Amiga.

Shoonay 02 April 2009 10:53

Well of course, every machine is good for some things and bad for others, I'm not a hardware-racist ;)
I'm just saying that making fun of the Atari on an Amiga board is... normal ;)

I've got a CPC you know... :cheese

TCD 02 April 2009 10:54

Except for the build-in MIDI port you could pretty much dump the ST when you have an Amiga... :cheese Only IMHO of course ;)

Where can you download this so I can try it under Chamaleon?

Did you expect it to be better than DPaint? :p
On a serious note : Seems to be a really good paint program on the ST, but I can't see a feature that makes it 'better' than DPaint.

Maybe yes, true, sure... BUT, that's why on my retro journeys I try not to compare, and see the hardware as it was at-that-time, and as it was the only thing available.
It really helps to enjoy it better, you know :)

Why would anyone want to enjoy a ST??? :shocked
:cheese
There are some (a very few) games that really are better on the ST, but I repeat : If you have the Amiga, why bother with the ST? :D
