Heavy and low-budget animation editors

Today I was drawing some pictures in PPaint on WinUAE and I remembered of a great front-end for ADpro that allowed its users to create ARexx macros to convert images and produce animations, all using only a simple point-and-click "language", but unfortunately I forgot its name.

So I had the idea to ask other users about what programs exists to edit images, convert pictures and produce animations, like to remap a 24 bit to 4 bit image, to convert from TIFF to IFF, to move objects on screen, create titles and to edit animations and movies. Anything related to animation.

Who should start this thread with a program tip? :)

To moderators: could you move this thread no "Nostalgia and Memories"? Thanks. ;)

I think Amiga Scene might be more suited in this case ;)

Hi,

I know of two that allow you to create animations by moving the drawn objects around the screen using like a script and add sounds at appropriate points.

Moviesetter - Probably the mostly used for Animations created for PD Libraries. The artist Eric Schwartz widely used this.

Mainactor - Again, similar in that you can make "scripted" animation.

Thanks, I will download and collect the two on my computer. I will use them to make a Amiga-inspired graphics workstation with my PC/WinUAE. :)
