Bridge Strike - new amiga game - information and updates
R3D team strikes again!
As you might have read in the other topics, they are working on a new game, called Bridge Strike. They have presented first public demo at RKLE 2016 and won 2nd place in the gamedev competion. They are the team behind Tanks Furry, a game released earlier this year. https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...63&oe=58652C63 https://scontent-lhr3-1.xx.fbcdn.net...77&oe=58609EB4 This is how the game looks like at this stage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dlL-...ature=youtu.be You can download demo version from this address: http://mega.szajb.us/juenizer/bscrunched Requirements: Please be aware, this is the first initial version. Amiga 500 OCS/ECS 020, 1MB MEM Due to small problems, the authors recommend starting the game with no startup-sequence on 020 processor. Tested configurations: A600 (1MB CHIP standard) + 1MB FAST - all ok! A500 kick 1.3 1MB chip 1MB FAST - all ok! Authors: Paweł / Juen / Nowak - code Krzysiek / Koyot1222 / Matys - gfx Simone / JMD / Bernacchia - music Marcin / Doomer / Święch - sfx Both JMD and Juen are active on this forum, so I'm sure they will see all your posts:) Tanks Furry was release for free. Probably they will release Bridge Strike for free as well. They are really humble ones but I have suggested them to open the patreon account. If you want to support them, you might do it over there. I think they deserve it! https://www.patreon.com/user/posts?u=3166416 |
Nice. Looks like River Raid for the Amiga. :)
|
Cool :) I will test it tonight :)
|
Looks fun, and I *really* like the art style. :)
|
Daaaaaaamn I remember you guys talking about a River Raid clone.
LOVE IT!! it's funny that the bullet moves with the plane's direction. I know that River Raid did that, bu t maybe it's time to improve it ;) Depends on how it affects gameplay. Also it'd be great to take advantage of the upgraded hardware and maybe make it run a bit faster. |
Fantastic news!
|
Love that modern pixel art look their games have.
Looks really brilliant on an Amiga. |
Looks nice!
River Raid is only one of few games that I will play on Atari 2600. Thank you |

Great little game, I play it and I have finished it. It's hard, but I'm okay with that, I like games that require some challenge. Music in game is big improvement since Tanks Furry. Firing those rockets require some skill, You can use that ability to quick destroy enemy ships, but it's also require caution when You are near fuel tanks. Graphic is awesome, from that nice pixel frame to every small object You can see on land and on sea.

Looks nice :D
