"The Amiga Works" by Allister Brimble - Kickstarter Project
 

Allister Brimble has just launched a Kickstarter project for his new double album "The Amiga Works". He will create up to date CD quality versions and remixes of his best musical works from the Commodore. The album artwork and an A2 poster will be designed by Rico Holmes who was the inspiration and artist behind the original Alien Breed series and other Team 17 games. I am still not deicided if I spend my 25 GBP, but temptation is strong.

Very tempting... thinking of the £50 pledge... 26 of 40!

I pledged £50 this morning. You get quite a bit for that level of donation - the double CD pack signed, "Sounds Digital" CD album signed, a poster, and a limited edition USB stick with the audio files and original MODs.

I've gone for 2 copies of the new album plus poster.

Id have gone for the 50 quid one, but it's sold out. Looks like it'll be the 40 for me. Cool, thanks for sharing!

Someone of you pledgers should invite Allister to EAB.

I told him about EAB over on Amibay but he only posted the once over there so I guess he is a busy boy...

Does anyone know if Allister Brimble covered the All Terrain Racing game music? Just curious...May back this project.

Well this sounds more like the way it should be, compared to the Turrican one.

I like it, but I don't think Alien Breed Evolution part 2 fits to the album named 'Amiga works' much.

Yeah i would totally change it for ATR.

Or Subwar 2050 or Lost Vikings.

I'll certainly cover all the tracks I'm allowed to. New option is now available to get a personal thankyou from me in the CD booklet btw!

also there's a remix competition open to all backers.. the best one will go onto the CD. In addition Jimmy Fredrickson will be providing his track from Full Contact (menu tune) along with possibly a big name guest track!

We would invite at least one more example beside that 16 secs in you kickstarter page, I think.

I see that Allister is more than half way to his goal. Bring it on!!

well considering it is already a cover of the original amiga tune, I think it fits fine, plus it's being extended to include the rest of the Amiga original that the evolution track didn't cover.
