Amiga Hard drive?
 

I have bought Amiga 2GB Hard drive and I know it is working because of red light i think...

So my screen is Black and how do I format the hard drive as i really new to it

please let me know :)

Boot from the Install3.1 (or 3.0) floppy disk and run HDToolbox.

When I turn my amiga and I press down two mouse button as I want option screen come on but it doesnt.....so the amiga read the hard drive but the screen is black and i think the hard drive is blank at the moment...

I have 2GB Hard drive compact flash....could anyone help me if i send 2GB HD Compact flash to someone who know how to do them......

If your Amiga does not boot with the device connected, then either the CF card is not compatible or you connected it wrong somehow. There is nothing anyone else could do about it. The Amiga has to boot (or ask for a floppy), no matter if the HDD is empty or not.

Does it boot if you connect the CF-IDE adapter alone, without the CF card?

I had the same problem a while back with an A600, with the CF adapter connected I only got a black screen. When I tried a different adapter it worked fine, so as Thomas suggests it looks like you have either connected it wrong or have a faulty/incompatible CF adapter.

Once you have that sorted and can at least boot to kickstart screen with the drive attached if you still need someone to setup the CF card for you I'd be happy to help out.
