WHDload and TrainerMenus ??!?

Been looking at games like Alien breed 3D 1 and 2, breathless and many other games that i have trainer menus for, would it be possible to add these to whdload installs??

I have the sunflex trainer for alien breed 3d 1 and 2 and would love to see this from whdload, i realise that these trainers have the trainer exe and then a modified game executable to run with trainer, so then the WHDload install would not be accurate, but maybe some special versions could be done???

Ever use the tooltypes to call the trainers?

If the slave itself does "support" = has a build in trainer, then yup, that works.
But adding something else after/before WHDLoad is quite impossible due to the "degrading nature" of the WHDLoad ;) or different addresses here and there...

But i'll let WHDLoad slave programmers speak :D

One of the WHDLoad guys was going to build a generic trainer menu system that would be easily called and put up a menu before the game started, but I'm not sure about progress on that.

I think the WHDLoad team would prefer a separate system so that the games don't look like obvious cracks and also means we can change the layout/graphics etc of the menu and all games would have that rather than a mish-mash of inconsistent trainer menus hacked onto the games.

If any progress happens on the trainer menu I'll let you know...

That would be me :o

I've got the basic functions for screen setup, text rendering and so on written, I just need to find some time to finish off the menu code and tie it all together. That pesky real life thing keeps getting in the way :rolleyes
