Nice collection :great

mabus 21 November 2007 20:40

Wow!

A truly massive collection you have there ! I have quite a lot of stuff gathered over the years, taken over from friends and so on. I don't even dare to take a look up in the loft :) But it's not a proper collection, more a random pile of stuff ... I'll do a proper inventory one day though!

BinoX 21 November 2007 20:41

Thx Ironclaw :)

Thx Mabus... (And thx again for the A3000 and the CSPPC for the 3000T :D)

keropi 21 November 2007 20:49

very nice! :spin

coze 21 November 2007 20:56

I hope that's not their usual resting place :) lol !

great collection, I especially drooled over the 4000Ts and 3000T.

BinoX 21 November 2007 21:09

No, usually they're all arranged (and most are plugged in) in my room :)

I'm having a big clean so I took them all out and decided that it would be a good time to take that pic that I promised some ppl :)

... yeah.. lol :)

I still live at home... house rental prices are insane around here (and even more insane to buy)

Basically to rent a 1 bedroom flat would cost me 80% of my months wages and I wouldn't be able to afford council tax, electricity, water AND food... so I'd have to go without one... lol

But me and a couple of mates r gunna try and rent a place together sometime next year to make it affordable...

But at home I got all the space I need anyway... very big bedroom (little floorspace remains though), a couple of sheds and a small outside (brick) room.. lol Oh.. and the garage too.. So I'm in no rush.... and I'm only 24, got a few more years yer b4 it becomes desperate ;)

Dexther 22 November 2007 00:06

What on earth do you do to earn so little? Or is it REALLY that expensive where you are?

Rent + bills is usually about 50-60% of pay.

You seem quite technically competant from our conversations. Surely you take home more than minimum wage? 40hrs per week?

If you are smart you'll save for the deposit on a place and get the others to pay your mortgage ;)

Peter 22 November 2007 00:19

Stay at home with your Mum for as long as you can!

Try and meet a girlfriend with a big house... and a curiosity for old computers...

37 hours per week... It's not too bad pay.. not the best.. but it's OK... lol..
Well, simple flat rental around here is about £700pcm.. U can work out how much I get paid from that.. lol

The problem is, living in cornwall there's not much call for anyone in computers... So I'm a lowly technician at a school.. lol

Although I'm perfectly capable of managing a whole network and writing network support apps, there's just no call for it here.. and I don't really wanna move away if I can help it!

I do some freelance coding on the side though, but that's not guaranteed income, so I don't count it..
