Does anyone know of this rpg Amiga game?

Hi guys, new here. I`ve come here cos I just cannot find thisor remember a particular game name that I and two of my m8s played 20 years ago about!

It`s an rpg game for the Amiga where at least 3 Players can play and you can explore a fantasy world. It played from a near top-down view, but was not turned based. Each player can equip himself and fight all kinds of creatures together as a team. There are portals in this world that allow you to travel to other worlds\places, but at each portal there`s a different coloured dragon. The music as you went down each portal was memorable - A sort of sinking tune.

I for the life of me can`t remember what this game was called. Does my description give anyone any ideas?

Thanks in advance. :)

Try Dragonflight http://hol.abime.net/412/screenshot or http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...re_viewpoint=9

Dragonflight is single player.

The style of gameplay Socratus describes resembles Gauntlet 2 / Chaos engine

I've never played a simultaneous multiplayer cooperative top down RPG on the Amiga. I'm interested to know what it is.

Maybe it's Swords Of Twilight?

Oooo. Never seen that game. It's so unusual there isn't even a YouTube clip of it.

I've got the original, very good RPG that is also multi player :)

Wouldn't the screenshots for Swords of Twilight jog his memory? And as TCD posted, this is the only RPG that supports 3 players!! BTW, has anybody had a 99 player game of Tales of Tamar?

The manual for Swords of Twilight also mentions Dragons that guard the Rainbow Road, which you use to travel from one place to another, so there are dragons in it!

:shocked:bowdownYES! Just confirmed it with my old friend. Three of us played it at the same time near 20 years ago. We really enjoyed it. It had a piece of music I have always remembered.

Good, now I have the name I can do the rest! Thankyou all very much!:spin

p.s. @Neil79 maybe you can pop a play of it on utube one day?
