If you could buy any used Amiga hardware what would it be?
I would have made this a POLL but there is just too much to list.
Lets exclude Cyberstorm PPC/060 with CVision, Blizzard PPC/060 with BVision & Blizzard 2060 with PPC module as I am sure that is almost Amiga owner's top 3. :) And lets exclude stuff which is still available new today, like Elbox PCI busboards, Indivision scandoubler, MiniMig etc. If we ignore price, look at everything that was commercially available (no prototype or vapourware stuff), what is your most sought after hardware? Full computer, accelerator, sound card... right down to manuals & boxes, anything. :) If it is a particular version of something (like an A4000D-CR Rev D) be specific. Please try and list the manufacturer's name if you know it. And if there is an interesting tale behind why, tell us. Why?? When the thread is exhausted in a week or so I'll let you know. |
I am unable to give a positive response here because you have excluded the only item on my wishlist - a Blizzard PPC accelerator card for my A1200.
I am a registered owner of Classic AmigaOS 4.0 for PPC Amigas, and getting my hands on one of these would allow me to run it. :) |
I want a Vidi rt24 digitizer/thingy
|
A GVP Impact II HDD for my A500+
Anyone wanna sell me one...? :D |
Realy good question -
CDTV PowerCopy Hardware I'd like to play about with one of those ST or IBM/Pc hardware based emulators. Not Amiga but a dirt cheap MacMini. |
SX expansion to my CD32 to speed up FPS games
Keyboard to my CD32 Amiga->PC joystick adapter |
A1000 serial no. 1 and the last A4000 to come off the Commodore assembly lines? :)

All I want are a couple frigging 060 accelerators at a reasonable price ($150 or less). Is that too much to ask for? (that's a rhetorical question... I know it is too much to ask for)

Prices are sort of irrelevant in this thread. It's just what would you most want buy, if you had the money.

Hmmmmm
on the count down to christmas, my christmas list would be - Prelude Zorro version Delphina Zorro version Picasso IV with all the trimmings (Pablo IV, Paloma TV, Concierto) SX32 Pro would be nice to play with ... yes an Apollo 630 would be a bit of fun :D A little fun with a Rombler would be nice too :D other things that are interesting and for a bit of fun Checkmate 1500 for a thrash with an A500+ Also would love a play with the PAK-68 (With FRAK2 module) |
An A3000/UX/25 as a collection piece if i can find one someday, maybe.
|
A "collection piece" !?! :shocked :confused
|
Amitek 4mb PCMCIA Ram card
http://www.amiga-hardware.com/showha...cgi?HARDID=943 I got the 2mb but theres still a few games that wont work on 600. I got everyone else i want, just this missing from my hardware collection |
@Zetr0 An A630!! You can play with my one soon :)
|
@DDNI
indeed! =D I promise to take many pictures :D |
Hmm... Amiga 1000. The definitive Amiga.
A soundcard for my A4000 w/ currently faulty audio. An Amiga 2000, as I currently have no A2k in the attic :) A BlizzardVision for my A1200 to get all benefit of it under OS4. shall I continue? ;) |
An A2000 or an A3000 (with hard disk in either) ... always had a hankering for a big box Amiga.
Although for some reason I wouldn't care for an A4000. |
Great topic!
My top 3: 1. CDTV RAM card (64k or 256k, preferably the latter) - pretty much the only piece of kit missing from my CDTV collection 2. SX32 PRO - already have the non-pro version, but I want that 030 3. CD32 FMV module - just to see it running.. |
An A4000T, A Picasso IV card and a Toaster/Flyer.
(If it can all fit, that is) |
