CD32 ISO images with WHDLoad

I've got a couple of CD32 ISO images.. can I use them on my A1200 running WHDLoad please?

Many thanks for any help.

Some CD32 games have WHDLoad installers made, but not all. You can't use the ISOs you have like that, though.

There's a CD32 emulator that will run discs, not sure if you can make it run ISOs, but even if you do, you will lose CD audio tracks, if any are present. CacheCDFS comes with one.

You can also mount an ISO using any image mounter utility (I use XFS) and play the games, if they don't use the Akiko chip, they should run.

i was imagining a solution where you would remove/unplug the CD drive from a CD32, and replace with a device with a microSD card with every CD32 iso/bin official and unofficial...

The terrible fire accelerators allow to do (almost) that. booting the CD32 from a Compact Flash card. Doesn't boot ISOs, though. Maybe it works if you put your ISO image on the compact flash since it's IDE...

What works is whdload/JST on the Compact Flash prepped as a HD.

This has been discussed before in other threads. Two "issues":
- What you want with the ISO is also the CD Audio to work
- The CD32 has a proprietary (Akiko) CDROM interface, not IDE, so making a CD/ISO alternative to a gotek will be a major challenge.
