You need a kickstart bios rom file. These are still copyrighted, you can buy them through colanto's amiga forever (I think), or if you have an Amiga already you could try transfering it yourself. I'm sure the admins would frown upon you asking for one here.

Crap, I used to own a 1200, though sold it years ago.

I got the ROM-files from my AmigaForever6 CD, with the RomKey and everything . . . . but winfellow still complained about "unable to find Rom-File" . . .

I just downloaded the version from 15.th November 2004, and thought it was strange that I couldn't use any of my legal files to get it to work.

some of the ROM-files I've just downloaded (ie, doesn't NEED a Keyfile) worked, though :scratch

Prolly WinXP's fault . . . you can blame everything on WinXP, anyways :P

i dont know if this helps but try this adress : <deleted by Bippy>

Don't supply links to Rom files or pages with them

This is totally stupid : why are these Rom images still copyrighted ? I'm not a bad guy and I won't give any links here, but I keep thinking their distribution should be free...

Because Cloanto bought the licenses and do not want people to freely distribute the Amiga Kick ROM files / workbenches, as otherwise no one would buy their (almost useless) Amiga Forever ;)

I think KMOS owns the copyright now. Cloanto is only licensed to sell them, but they don't own the copyright.
