Magnetic Scrolls/Strand Games
 

i'm a huge fan of the mag scrolls adventures, so i was delighted to randomly discover this the other day:

one of the founders was a co-founder of MS back in the day. so far they've released a "remaster" of the pawn for mac/win/linux/android (i bought it, but haven't had a chance to check it out yet).

perhaps most interesting is their blog where they've been documenting their efforts to retrieve data from old MS backup tapes/disks. very curious to see what they find!

Their The Pawn app looked interesting with the automapping feature. I always been meaning to tryout Magnetic Scrolls games, but never got around to them.

Somehow this slipped me by, but they've now released a remaster of "The Guild of Thieves". Currently available for Win/Mac/Linux/Android - I assume iOS will be coming soon.

this is the game I got with my Amiga, and the first time I played a Magnetic Scrolls adventure. Very fond memories of it - great stuff.
