Hello from A1200!

Something is very odd. Firstly, this place has a distinct lack of bitching and trolling. There doesn't seem to be much moderation, it just doesn't seem to go on here.

What's even stranger that despite being registered on Amigaworld since 2003, Amiga.org since 2005 and Amigans since 2006, I for whatever reason, don't seem to have ever registered here.

Yet, I have used this website as a resource, as it is usually the best result when doing a web search for a classic Amiga solution to a problem!

Anyway, here I am. I have been an Amiga user since the mid 90s and am also a Amateur Radio operator and a Star Trek fan. Yes I am a total sad git.

Currently running an A1200 / 2B Mobo / 3.1 ROMs / WB3.1 (MWB/Birdie/MagicMenu/TitleShadow/MagicCopper) / Marpet M1207 RAM board with 4MB RAM & FPU / 1GB CF HDD. Photo of Amiga and Radio setup in my shack attached.

Will try to get more involved. There are a lot of forums so excuse if this intro is in the wrong place.

Thanks Simmo! Classic Amiga and nostalgia are my thing. Not really expecting some new PPC based revolution. I just try and keep it real with oldskool hardware and software.
