Enabling 2P in any existing SEUCK game
I've been doing some playing around with SEUCK recently, although it's possible to edit any released SEUCK game in the editor it'd take a fair bit of fiddling around to add 2P support to games that didn't already have it.
What I discovered was all of the variables related to 1P seem to fall within this range in the ".all" file, bytes $17301 to $174DA If you copy that range to $174DB, it seems to copy the Player 1 limitations, starting position, playfield and sprite animations across to Player 2. Though I'm a little bit paranoid that my range might not be correct, say it's entirely possible it might copy data unrelated to Player 1 to a different location. If there's any interest I *may* look at making a rudimentary Windows or Amiga command line tool to automate the process. Tested so far with: - Raid - Blood N Bullets - Slap N Tickle - Psychoblast |
Interesting! Unfortunately I dont have a friend to play with. :sad

[PS. I am only kidding, TCD is an excellent guy.] Quote:
The only problem is cruising the Atlantic and the Pacific to play SEUCK games on the home of the other, WinUAE dont have Kaillera support yet. :p |
So the only issue with enabling 2P option so far is finding someone to make use of 2P option? :D
