How Many Amiga Games Released Over The Years ?
 

just wondering if anyone have even the wildest guess as to how many amiga games released over the past 10 or so years ?

Well I gather since 1991 to 2001 ???

I presume its close to 2000 or probably more..

I guess it's a lot more but when you limit it within the decade, it's hard to guess.

I've verifed about 3,000 commercially released titles from 1986 to 2002, but there are more that I haven't found yet.

Just 2 days ago I bought about around 22000 Amiga disks from a once long time amiga user, it was kept neatly with disk labels still shows no sign of fading.
Best of all, its all commercial games with no demos whatsoever ( at least thats what he said )
He also managed to test them all before taking them to the pawn house where I bought it from, which also from what he said took him a full week to test all disks :)

Hmm if lets say one game consits of 4 disks that means I just bought about 2400/4 = 600 amiga games.

Oh well, around 2500 more to go....

whoops! this amount of disks would utterly take a pickup-truck to transport them, though :laugh
nimble fingers seem to have typed one '0' too much ;)

2200 disks is still a darn lot. I think I have about 700 in total whereof an unknown number probably contains errors.

i have about a 100 for my REAL Amiga, nothing special, the normal stuff that i would imagine every Amiga owner has ever had.

emulation, however is a completely different matter;)

Yeah, that's what I was going to ask. Hey, xamigax - can you check these lists and see if these (or any other rarities) are in your new cache of gold?
