Bazza 'n' Runt

Ok, time for me to milk EAB again ;)

I've been trying to get Bazza 'n' Runt to work with WinUAE (TOSEC version off planetemu.net), but whatever config I use, it gets to the cracking screen and crashes out when the game starts loading with some AmigaDOS error. Here's the error:

KWINTRO1 failed returncode 20

although I suspect that is of little use. I never was all that good with AmigaDOS ;)

Any ideas?!

Nada...it's very useful (AmigaDOS returncodes make sense). In this case, returncode 20 means an arguement is incorrect. What I would do is to edit the startup-sequence and comment out the intro, which is the problem anyhow. I'm assuming it's a cracktro.

Cheers, will do :)

Hmm, that didn't work. Seems that KWINTRO1 is the actual game file, and BAZZA.EXE (why the hell has it got an exe extension lol) is the cracktro. Tried commented each out separately just in case, but no luck :(

Just curious here...what version of WinUAE and (more importantly) what Kickstart?

Bazza N Runt doesn't like slow mem. Use the latest WinUAE, ECS13 config and 1 MB chip mem only.

EDIT: The above config takes you a bit further, but the same error message appears after a while.

OK, here goes...

Latest WinUAE, ECS13, 2 MB chipmem, more compatible CPU, disable external drives.

Mess with the best, DIE like the rest! HOL Powwwwwaaaaa!!!

Oh, sorry.

Ahhhhh nice one :D And it was the latest WinUAE btw ;)
