Serial output in WinUAE 3.3 - how to?
Hi, can someone explain to me (or point me to a guide) on how to get serial output in WinUAE setup?
I would like to enable debugging on AmigaOS 4.1 FE and watch the real-time serial output in another window. Usually between two real Amiga 4000's I just use a serial cable and Term on one of the machines. Is this possible on WinUAE 3.3? Thanks Darren |
You don't need serial port or cables. add -log -serlog to see all serial data in log window.
But if you really want to use serial port, select your physical PC serial port using IO ports panel. |

Or, is there a way to pipe the output directly to a text file? |
serlog also goes to winuaelog.txt (if winuaelog.txt is enabled)
