Which one in the Shadow of the beast series would you like to see me complete?
 

So, I want to complete a new game and was thinking of maybe Shadow of The Beast. the reason for this is that there is an active thread about the game right now and when I searched, I found quite many old SotB threads. I also played SotB 1, 2 and 3 when I was just a kid, but couldnt beat anyone of them. Today there is Internet (when I played these games, I didn't even know about Internet... well, maybe a little) with walkthroughs and maps... and of course WinUAE with a quicksave function :)... so hopefully I should be able to beat one of them and RECORD it for everyone to see.

So... which one would you like to see being completed?

And please no childish and lame comments. I record Amiga games for people to see what the games looks like AND incase they never managed to complete the game themselves. Also record them cuz I LOVE amiga games and sees this as a little tirbute to keeping the Amiga alive...... etc..... :great

Personally, I would like to record the one that has best graphics, music and stuff. Not the one that is the hardest to complete... but don't know which one that is. So far SotB 2 is #1.

I would like to see you try to complete these games for hours, until your nails are bled and teeth cracked and every attempt be more agonizing than before leaving you upset, cold, broken and crying at your inevitable failure. I would like you to prepare this video several hours in length and embed every bit of your pain in every byte of data while not telling this explicitly. I would like you to let us believe that it is a game completion video. I would like you to surprise me. I would like you to smile at me warmer than anyone ever did then remove the dirt and burden off my soul using a toothbrush. Then I would like you to dress according to this occasion.

Hehe, I could record every second of me when playing it, placing a video camera behind me :)... nah.. I try to limit my recordings to approx 10 mins, so will only include the parts I think is the best in the game (and that's not easy.. so I just take some here and there)

Seriously I like the idea of recording games ;)

I would like to see you complete II also, because it is hard as hell.

Why did you enter a code at the password entry in Stardust. Cheat Code?

Do you cheat on your recordings? I watched your Stardust and I couldn't see you lose any energy. You also used Three-way too often..meaning that you must have cheated. You also could have upgraded your bouncer weapon but instead chose to upgrade your three-way even though it was already fully powered...

Recording games is a good idea though....

Play it as it is suppose to be played...WITH SKILL!!

I just showed what it looked like if you wanted to enter a code, and as you saw, I only changed the 3 first letters or so.. so no real code there.

Yes, I cheat. I just want to show the games... and yes, I didnt upgrade the bouncer weapon even though the three-way was fully upgraded, didnt care about it. I like using the three-way :)

Commandos is an old game. Finished that game a long time ago in cooperative with a friend. Fun game :).

Ok, I have uploaded the Shadow of the Beast 2 recording. This game is sooooo hard!, one wrong step and you have to start all over, and you could do like 4 mistakes every minute. To my luck though, WinUAE has a quick save function. I tried at first to play without unlimited energy, but that was like impossible.

This game was really nothing special... not very good graphics, boring and repetitive music.

For some reason, the quality of the recording looks really awful even though I used the same quality as the other recordings. Must be because of the colored back... or something... I suggest you view it in the "standard" size.


Incase you didnt know, The "standard" and "large" view size are the same file, they have the same quality. The only difference is that the "large" view size is just the double viewing size of the standard.

Oh, and this game has the lamest ending ever.... Just a picture. Maybe because I cheated? :evilgrin
