I've already ordered two of them.
|
Out of interest does anyone know why this is?

Yes we can.

Had an email Monday that my preorder had been dispatched... so they are out in the wild a bit early :)

@ wmsteele got same message today too so good news :spin |
Good news. They are significantly cheaper than the IDE4 Zorro II which is about 100 Euro.

The no-UDMA cable is most likely due to them using 40 pin connectors instead of the keyed 39/40 pin connectors required to use a UDMA cable.
|
We will have our stock imminently at Amiga Kit
|
wish they worked :/
|
Probably a stupid question, but why would you use this instead of a compact flash card?
