Hi, i`m looking for that game, HOL is missing any info about it and its developer. did they ever released it?

I remember that one, but it got silent IIRC after that one brief info box in Secret Service, so, I'm afraid not.
Although, it says: "We've just been notified 3rd hand that the group of programmers from Warsaw has almost finished this arcade-adventure game [...]"

PS: Why don't you post this on PPA too? ;)

s2325 13 March 2009 12:59

Title is an answer where can we find this game...

Shoonay 13 March 2009 13:00

^ lol :cheese

prart 13 March 2009 13:02

... and that it`s been 18 months in production and developers are planning to hit some western software publisher. that info is from Secret Service magazne April 1995

s2325 ok, time to get some sleep then ;)

18 months of work wasted? can`t belive that it didn`t show up somewhere (as beta maybe)

Shoonay 13 March 2009 13:06

Exactly!

Like I said, let's post it on PPA, quite an active bunch of people from Warsaw posts there so maybe someone will know.

some new info: Secret Service nr 28 (october 1995), page 10, news. Producer name shows up as Union Systems ( http://hol.abime.net/hol_search.php?...nion%20Systems ) and confirmation of nearly release.

s2325 16 March 2009 09:40

that doom`ish game is Switchworld indeed, but i`m talking about info in red box above it. and on the second screen that i`ve posted there are two more pictures from In Your Dreams. if one can upload that cover disk, it would be great.

s2325 16 March 2009 10:07

I think 'materialy reklamowe' are only text adverts, maybe some screens, but not playable previews because only Teenagent is marked as 'demo'.

prart 16 March 2009 10:19

yes, you are right, but maybe there are some more "clues" about where to search or who to ask.

Shoonay 16 March 2009 10:28

Oh yeah, I've already posted a topic and PM'd Docent about the demos of those two games he *should* have...

I wrote an email to Docent. But got no reply so far. I wish there was something else we could do to retrieve these games.

Still no reply. Maybe you have some ideas how to persuade someone to share these fantastic games :confused

meckert 08 May 2010 23:46

Any news on that ? anyone had a response from Docent ??

Sir_Lucas 24 January 2011 08:50

Some time ago I got a reply through PPA, Polish Amiga Portal and it wasn't Docent. Moreover, the person who wrote me explained that Docent had had nothing to do with this game. Unfortunately it doesn't look very promising. Seems that the chances are very slim to get anything apart from few screenshots and an engine of the game.
The person, who wrote me an email with explanation promised to publish everything as soon as he finds time to do so.

I found the coverdisk of "Secret Service # 28". If anyone is interested I can put in the zone ...
In all cases, it will be included in the next release of TOSEC :agree

Shoonay 01 March 2013 12:15

Wow, yes, please do upload it Crashdisk, and if you have more of those contact me please, Secret Service cover flopies are a real rarity, would love to include them in my collection. ;)
