what is supposed to do filtered low resolution ?
sorry if it's a newbie question, but i never found what it's supposed to do.
I just noticed when it's set that the amiga cd32 logo when a cd32 game is detected by the console is displayed with strange colours. |
You should see difference in CLI.

ko i saw the difference but it's better without it.
When do you use this feature ? |
If you use low resolution (less than 640x480) text is readable with filter on.

ok i see the point now, thank you s2325, always so helpfull. :great

It was made for two reasons:
- superhires WB (for example) in hires is totally unreadable without filtering. - some programs (some demos and if I remember correctly, Virtual Karting) use superhires to "mix" colors. Only filtered low resolution shows "correct" colors in emulation (without filtered you get ugly color bars). Note that this mixing only works if real hardware is connected using Composite or RF connection. RGB does not (can't) mix colors. |
thanks toni
