Hello good people

I used to own a couple of Amiga back in the day and today I decided to try out an emulator.

I have downloaded WinUAE, and I'm now trying to get a game called Phantasie III - The Wrath of Nikademus to start up.

I have a *.adf file that should be the game.

I can hear the game-sound but I get not video, just a grayish colored window.

What could the problem be?

I'll ad that I haven't loaded WB.

The .adf from there worked fine for me in WinUAE 2.5.1 with both A500 and A1200 as emulated hardware (quickstart page).

You don't need WB but you need the Kickstart roms. They aren't distributed with the emulator due to copyright issues. The reverse-engineered open source ones have poor compatibility with games. That's probably your issue.
