ATX to AMIGA diagrams

Heys this should help

http://www.guildserver.co.uk/data_im...00/diag031.PNG

its pretty simple

the only thing i would suggest is

during part 2 (Completing the Circuit)

to TIN (solder) the end of the -12 wire so you get a nice sugg fit in the back of your miggy :)

the rest is self explanatory :)

hello,

It is possible to simply take a standard 4 cables floppy connector from the power supply and fit directly on the a1200 motherboard ???? (like powered an internal floppy drive).

thanks for all the informations. The zetro one are verry clear with the big picture, thanks.

the problem is someone to sell the good connectors in case for persons without skills. amigakit ???

Yes we can make an ATX to A1200 cable for you without any problem.

Send us an email.

@mrodfr
unfortuntately you cannot just use the foppy connector to power the a1200 as you need a (-12volt line) as well for the amiga to have power.

Indeed if your unsure then amigakit I am confident will help with some good offerings :)

[edit]
you can use a floppy power connector to the motherboard but you will also need to cut/splice/whatever pin 12 from ATX (-12volts) and have this wire tightly fitted into the back via the central pin of the amiga power connector.

( i couldn`t understand the question fully untill my head cleared *(it was a heavy night last night)" damn them birthdays and damn backpropergating nural-nets uni work too... maths is a pain.)
