How about the schematic on Aminet "Amiga PS/2 Wheel Mouse Controller" http://wuarchive.wustl.edu/pub/amine.../hack/ps2m.lha

It has the option of using both the joystick and mouse at the same time.

Try the following...

I haven't attempted this myself.

How about this one mate.

No more swapping mice and joysticks! Build this 2 IC device to automatically select the device you press fire (or left mouse button) on. Save your connectors!

i suggest you will be using it with your competition pro pad. when you buy a switch on ebay it may only let you use one or two buttons of the pad. the rest of the buttons doesn´t come through. like in my case.. :crying has anyone got a cd32-pad compatible switch??
