A2088 showing as "defective"
I have an A1500 with an A2088 BridgeBoard and GVP Impact HC+8 Series II with 8MB RAM installed.
When I go into the board diagnostic, the BridgeBoard shows as defective. Is there any way that I can find out WHY it is defective? |
OK - it only shows as defective when the GVP card is installed....
|
The bridgeboard needs at least 512k of Autoconfig space, but your 8mb GVP already occupies the whole Zorro-2 space.
Install less memory on the GVP and both cards will work fine together. |
Right - got it. Won't work with 8MB on the GVP... Will work ok with 6MB.
