Iff > exe
Back in the mists of time, I had a program which turned an IFF picture file into an executable.
IIRC it tacked some code to the pic for its own viewer. Can anyone point me to it please, as I'm sure I got it from an Aminet CD but my searches of Aminet have been fruitless so far TIA V1 |
Maybe Iff2Ex ?

I think that is the one (I searched for "iff2exe" too) Thanks for your help V1 |
Theres also another one on the LSD tools disks which can add music to the file being shown as well.. and if i remember correctly.. i believe there was a cruncher which could also turn a pic into a self displaying pic but at the moment its name escapes me

crunch-o-matic or something along those lines. i think the name of the packer was.. pic to exe, music to exe and music+pic to exe.
lsd tools disc 31. lsd tools 1.. iff>execute v0.9 and iff+mod>execute aswell |
crunch-o-matic seems like an ideal prog for what I want, unfortunately it's severely crippled shareware :-\

found another app for you.. its called MOD-PRO.. wait..
it converts protracker mods into exe.. but it also does iff to exe and it will also do protracker + iff to exe.. Theres no document to tell you how to use it though.. easy to use though.. as it has a gui.. the picture also has a timer.. so if you want the picture to be displayed for 10seconds type in 10.. if 30sec type 30 before saving. and the produced files can be crunched/packed. |

I’ve checked all the LSD Utils disks and it’s not on there, don’t suppose you remember what utilities disk you found it on ? Point me in the direction ? |
ok.. found it on my HDD..
iff>execute iff+mod>execute mod-pro <this is packed with powerpacker 4. iffcr = iff cruncher display-criff = display the above. all in a lha amiga created archive in the zone NOW.. should be at the top.. uploader myname Crunch-o-matic was the name of the cruncher which could create iff exe.. and it worked well.. only problem i find it only seems to work from df0:.. basic startup.. |
