Audio difference HARDWARE/HOST
Who can tell me about AUDIO differences in:
HARDWARE CHIPSETS CONFIG and HOST/SOUND I see doubled that same functions "SOUND EMULATION". |
Yup, a double function... There is no difference though as you've probably discovered.
Basically if you set any of the Sound Emulation options i.e. Disable, Emulated or Emulated, 100% accurate in either Settings --> Hardware --> Chipset or Settings --> Host --> Sound it will change in both areas. Of course Settings --> Host --> Sound has loads of other options you can play with ;) I guess the option is there in Settings --> Hardware --> Chipset as you usually don't need to go into the Settings --> Host --> Sound section. Easier for new users who don't understand what everything means I guess. Anyway, I'm sure Toni can give us the real reason as to why Sound Emulation options are displayed in both areas :agree |
Is it possible to disable Paula sound but still allow AHI sound (to the PC soundcard) to work?
