Check this out !!!

Man what an asskicking game !!!:) :) :) I`ve totaly wet my pants. Believe me. What would I do to play this hammer gammer.

But the question is..... WHO HAS THE HORSE POWER TO PLAY IT ?????????:confused

Buying a SUPERCPU for a single game????? Come on.

Maybe we will have an emu next time?????:cool

When there is an EMU.... I will buy this game for sure.:great :great :great

Frog 18 July 2005 21:34

it really looks awesome !

i'm still amazed to see people giving some of their time to something that we think is dead.
Definitively awesome !

Amiga1992 19 July 2005 19:53

Yipee.

You need a tremendously expensive C64 accelerator board to play it.

Did I say Yipee?

Unless they make a C-One port, this is quite useless. C-One has the same CPU core so I don't know why they took so long and haven't ported it yet. I was expecting a C-One version (I was on the preorder list. For ages)

kriz 19 July 2005 22:49

A C-one version would rock indeed ....

Latest experimental VICE has SuperCPU support now.

In case you're wondering if Metal Dust works I made a small video (nevermind the crap gameplay by me, I'm working on it). :D

PS Sorry for the grave digging.

Retro-Nerd 29 December 2012 01:12

Yep, really nice. I've tried Last Ninja II, Leaderboard II, Cholo, Driller, Castle Master etc. Pretty smooth and fast now. :)

Amiga1992 29 December 2012 01:13

How did you exactly get this game? As I was on the preorder list and never managed to get it...

Retro-Nerd 29 December 2012 01:17

Digital Download

Amiga1992 29 December 2012 01:20

Thank you for that! I totally missed it.
I don't ever plan to have a SuperCPU, but if this does nay good to the devs, I might as well get it ... :) I totally love Knight & Grail and I got that through digital (and since I have a 1541U, this format is actually perfect).

Adapted games/games which benefit from a SCPU:

Why? above is the PURCHASE link. Don't fuck over independent developers for retro platforms!!!! :mad:mad:mad:mad:mad

Retroplay 29 December 2012 15:04

Game just purchased. ;)

I already had the game in an old collection (which I didn't even know until yesterday) I downloaded years ago from Usenet or Underground Gamer (can't remember which).

However I'm with Akira on this one, the developers deserves to be supported. :)

Oh and SuperCPU emulation on a 1541U-II, one can only dream. :laughing

Oh man how I would LOVE that. But there's also the Turbo Chameleon.

Retroplay 29 December 2012 15:33

Does the Chameleon have SuperCPU emulation now ? :shocked

If that's the case I gotta have one of those too. :D

It has "Turbo function with full 6510 emulation (illegal opcodes)", but I think it could easily have SuperCPU emulation.

Retroplay 29 December 2012 15:46

Hmm the day it has SuperCPU support I'm sold.
Schönfeld please make it happen. :D
