@ChrisUnionNJ files are not on his website anymore. Pls anyone?

AJCopland 23 October 2010 18:02

Helped a little

I've helped majasta out a little and found some of the files.

However I've just noticed that the http://www.gba1000.info site appears to be gone with simply the message:

"GBA1000.info is now closed.

For information on the GB A1000 computer, please visit www.a1k.org - Amiga & Phoenix Community.

Thank you.
"

Does anyone know what is going on with Georg pulling all of his files offline and now the help site itself?

Andy

Hello,
the gba1000.info page is not mine. And I have not even closed. The site was created by the organizer of a collective purchase order to the circuit board.
Files for the completion of existing pcb's can be found on my homepage. Where the Eagle files for production of further pcb's from me no longer be provided.

I have the eagle files :great

GB97816 25 November 2010 17:21

I think to myself, You are simply the GBA diagrams without prompting joined Aminet.
One of the reasons why I no longer make available documents.

Cosmos 26 November 2010 06:34

In the Z :great:great

GB97816 26 November 2010 14:37

I'm impressed.
Do you dare to ask that too Aminet?

I am a little confused

I assume that GB97816 is Georg Braun?

If so, firstly I must thank mr Braun for an exceptional project,

Ein riesiges Dankeschön

I have one of the motherboards based on the original releases and I am looking forward to eventually building it.

Now, the thing I am confused with - did you not want the files on Aminet?

who put them there?

This confused me too, as the wording in these statements is a little ambiguious, to say the least.

You know Aminet have a policy of not allowing copyrighted material, and if you ask them to remove these files, then they will.

These guys are very friendly helpful and efficient, do not be afraid to ask them.

GB97816 17 December 2010 21:38

Hi,

yes that's right! GB97816 is Georg Braun from Lohr am Main.
Or the developer of the GBA1000 motherboard and some enhancements to the Phoenix Board.
Cosmos and has never received permission from me to provide documentation to Aminet.
Even better, he has not even bothered to ask at least.

@ Zetr0 / Anakirob
A lot to you: Thank you

Cosmos 18 December 2010 07:09

@GB97816

I don't uploaded your files into Aminet = it's not me...

You talk a bit too fast about my person...

>Even better, he has not even bothered to ask at least.

I asked you 5/2/2010 by email about an old file released before for everyone (68k_turbo.zip) : I'm always waiting for an answer...

>Cosmos and has never received permission from me to provide documentation to Aminet

You are talking about the schematics ? For them, yes it's me...

This thread is talking about eagles files...

Anyway, I think they is a lot of magic against Amiga computers : the result of this magic is the division between us...
One of the solution is a full understanding about that by every Amiga users and a full cooperation between all of us...

I reply at all emails all the time...

GB97816 18 December 2010 14:14

The schematics for GBA1000 were created by me and subject to my legal copy.
You will not receive approval from me to distribute these documents. But do it anyway!
And you confuse something:
I do not need anyone to make documents / files available to me.

As I said:
Your behavior is one reason why I ever put any documents longer available.

And in this thread has asked for documents from me. Whether schmatics or Eagle files.

Hello Zetr0,

If documents are loaded into Aminet of me, I would do it himself.
And, I have absolutely no sympathy for people who use to their advantage was the work of others.

Greetings,
G. Braun

Cosmos 18 December 2010 14:59

?!??!!

You spread your documents for free on your website during a long time...
Many users have them on HD...

One day, you remove them and don't want to share anymore...
That's completly unbelievable...

Don't cry, I'll upload on Aminet a new release of the schematics collection, and I'll remove the GBA1000.pdf

To avoid misunderstanding:

The man who organized the group order of 60 pieces GBA1000 board is not meant here.
Kristian95 had previously asked me whether it is ok. And he had made the effort of GBA1000info HP to take care of the customer.

Kristian95 18 June 2011 18:02

Sorry for the thread necro, I have been abscent from EAB for quite a while.

Georg: I am very sorry that someone uploaded your files without your permission. I can guarantee that I was not the one who did that. I know you did a lot of work developing the GBA1000, something which I am very grateful for, and something I respect a lot. Hence I would never do something disrespectful towards you.

If I was to get involved in any production of any of your designs, I would always make sure it is ok with you first as well, like I did with the group order of the GBA1000 boards back then.

I just don't see why it has to be so hard to get these file's were a Amiga
community looking to make are own amiga's what is the problem with
that??
Hell finding the GBA1000 made me want to learn SMD tech I stopped soldering when SMD started it just cost to much back in the day..

maybe if someone is organizing a new purchase of pcbs and contacts Georg, that person can get the files needed? and sorry, I do not have the time required to organize another run.
