Hey @Novacoder, is it possible to make ScummVM 020 version which can run on A600 with Furia?
Furia is very capable little card. |

:p https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qmQhCKQJWjg It should run pretty well with the Furia |
The Atari ST coder has launched the source from his port.
Can be interesting take a look and check his optimizations. play "Day of tentacle" or "SAM & MAX" in a low ECS machine like an A3000 16Mhz can be cool. https://github.com/agranlund/ScummST I tested day of tentacle in my MegaSTE (68000 16Mhz) and runs good. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P9lpumV36ME |
Impressive :)
Colours are a bit off and it's based on a very old version of scummvm (I did something similar years ago) http://amiga.h-plus-t.com/ |
I got asked to update this 10 year old port to add support for Simon the Sorcerer 2 for OCS/ECS. I decided to use the old v1.4.1 AGA code because I know later versions are slower.
Anyway after some late night hacking it seems to work okay. If you run it on real hardware and want to have music then you really need to use external MIDI or it will be very slow (maybe just a black screen!). Video setup guide -> This video shows how to correctly setup AHI on a real Amiga New version based on ScummVM 1.4.1 -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiS5KatjxEI Available on aminet |
