The game is recognized with no problem so I reckon it's supported. But as soon as it starts the VM quits with this message:
Code:

Could not switch to resolution "320x240"
Since this is not a problematic resolution for any Amiga I wonder if I have some settings to do which I'm not aware of. Has anyone ever succeded in running this version of the game and has some hints to share? :help:help

From memory, I think the ECS version might be restricted to a 320x200 screen mode because it's too slow to run any 320x240 games.

Makes sense... Sad :(

Hey @Novacoder, is it possible to make ScummVM 020 version which can run on A600 with Furia?

Furia is very capable little card.

It should run pretty well with the Furia

The Atari ST coder has launched the source from his port.
Can be interesting take a look and check his optimizations. play "Day of tentacle" or "SAM & MAX" in a low ECS machine like an A3000 16Mhz can be cool.

I tested day of tentacle in my MegaSTE (68000 16Mhz) and runs good.

Impressive :)

Colours are a bit off and it's based on a very old version of scummvm (I did something similar years ago)

I got asked to update this 10 year old port to add support for Simon the Sorcerer 2 for OCS/ECS. I decided to use the old v1.4.1 AGA code because I know later versions are slower.

Anyway after some late night hacking it seems to work okay. If you run it on real hardware and want to have music then you really need to use external MIDI or it will be very slow (maybe just a black screen!).

New version based on ScummVM 1.4.1 -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiS5KatjxEI

This is great. Just found that new version yesterday by pure luck on aminet while downloading some stuff for my PiStorm-equipped Amiga 500. Runs great as far as I can tell. :great

Cool, has anyone tried this with an OCS/ECS 020/030 machine? If so, is it actually playable for some games?
