It would be wonderful if BB3&4 could be limited to only support that what the two official boingbags supported. LoadModule works equally well with 3.9/3.X kickstarts as it does with 3.1 kickstarts, and you can _easily_ "support" any kickstarts you want with your BB, including the so called "crippled" 3.X kickstarts. Why this unwillingness?

More configurations supported means more testing needed.

BB3&4 are not about kickstarts, they are about AmigaOS.

AmigaOS has (almost always) a kickstart (rom) based component and a disk based one.

You curiously seem to always "forget" the later one when you mention or argue about it for some odd reason.

He is no more developer of this software than I am.

Curiously? Please scroll back, someone asked if BB3&4 works with the 3.X kickstarts, and got the answer "no". I dispute that answer, as there is little and nothing about BB3&4 and the 3.X kickstarts that make them mutually incompatible.

That's enough. If you can't be bothered, and the current release already works, then you should be able to understand Minuous' reluctance without questioning his motives.
