Underground Arcade website launched

At last, we are pleased to announce the launch of our official website - http://www.underground-arcade.com

The site will contain the latest news on our Amiga game projects, with screenshots and details been added when progress is made, as well as links to the blog site etc.

Of course, we are always looking for coders, artists, and the like, or even if you have some old stuff you'd like to donate - all help is really appreciated. We already have more games on the go than is listed on the site currently, so if anyone wants to contribute that would be fantastic.

Big thanks to NovaCoder for putting the site together - fantastic work! And of course, to Rebel-CD32 and Cammy for getting Underground Arcade up and running, a great achievement to get this far and I'm sure it'll only get better, too.

Remember to check the site on a regular basis for the latest news on our games!

Indeed it is - it's not in my hands anymore though, I've passed the code to a couple of other people as (a) I was bored of it, (b) I don't have the ability to go as far as I would like with it and (c) I'm working on something else

That AGA game looks like ECS game because of that 256 colors GIF limitation. Or maybe not?

Couple of things I should really make clear:

1) It's a mockup (though those gfx do actually exist and get used in the game but it doesn't look like that currently)

2) It (at least when I started it) used a dual-playfield, so it only used a total of 32 colours for the actual game screen (16 for each playfield), and another 16 for the score panel. And another 16 will be used for the player's ship as it's a hardware sprite.

That's not to say it'll turn out like that as I'm not doing it anymore, at least for now.

Looks good. I couldn't help but notice that the forums section appears to be have been locked by your hosting provider and that Lemon Amiga isn't listed in the "Amiga Forums" section. Oversight or intentional snub?

Yes, the forums have now gone down for some reason. It was fine this morning but when I tried to access it later on I couldn't...

The Lemon forums where down when I was doing the links, I'll get round to it. The website will hopefully grown over the next few months and new content will be added.
