Player Manager cheats?
I have been looking for cheats for this game for ages but I have never found anything. Care to help? =)
Any hex editor cheats... or anything else would be sweet. Cheers! |

I don't think any Anco game ever had any built-in cheats. It always amuses me that those urban legends regarding Kick Off 2 cheats are still around on the Internet, such as "keep tapping on the fire button and your keeper will save all shots".
The most common way of (sort of) cheating in Player Manager is to save the game after the end of each season, start a new season and if you don't see a player you want to buy (5000K+ and good stats), resign and reload. You don't mention if you're playing it on a real Amiga or on WinUAE, but just in case you have a real Miggy note that there is a way of saving on the Player Manager original disk: -Click on Save -The game prompts you for the data disk -Eject the game disk and insert the data disk -As soon as you see the list of savegames, eject the data disk and insert the Player Manager disk (unprotected). Then type a name and click on Save. The savegame will be saved on the PM disk and you will avoid all this annoying disk swapping. Some people reloaded the game dozens of times in order to find the best players to buy!

do'h... forgott to mention that, but I'm using the WinUAE right now. The "save game after each season" sounds ok. =)
you havent got any experience as in hex editing the save game file? or is this even possible? Cheers mate! |
