    Hi prowler,

sorry I was away the whole evening, but left the EAB window open ;) The holidays are the same here, they last until the 5th of January. Guess we have plenty of time to improve our language skills then :)

Sorry to hear your friend died :( You still remember a lot of words and your grammar is good given you haven't used German (see, with a capital g this time ;)) for 13 years. I had a little drink too (and will have during the next days aswell mate :D), so I will write something about your German post tomorrow.

Dir noch einen schönen Abend und eine gute Nacht prowler :)

    Hi prowler,

"Das würde mir gut gefallen!" Correct :) That's the right way to say it. Okay now to your message today :

First of all you're really good! I can easily understand what you say and there are only small things that aren't perfect.

"Seitdem gestern nacht habe ich an noch vielen Deutsch erinnert!"
Instead of 'seitdem' you say 'seit'. You use 'seitdem' if you are referring to something you said before. Example 'Gestern war ich krank. Seitdem geht es mir schon viel besser.' In this case you're referring to being ill in the first sentence. If you use it in the same sentence you use 'seit'. Example 'Seit gestern bin ich krank.'.
'habe ich an noch' should be 'habe ich mich noch an'. Oh dear, this is a tough one ;) In english you would never use something like 'I myself' I guess. Since I'm no german teacher I can't explain why we use it this way ;)
Last thing is 'vielen Deutsch' would be 'viel Deutsch'. Normally it's 'viel', the only phrase I can think of atm where we use 'vielen' is in 'Vielen Dank' :)

Your other sentences are correct :thumbsup Where have you learned german? You must have had a good teacher :)

Hopefully my corrections didn't annoy you too much. I hope you also have some free days now and see you later mate

Just read your message and have to say that's a bit late now (got up at 6:30 in the morning today, that's 5:30 of your time ;)) for starting some german lessons. Let's do that tomorrow since my christmas holidays have just begun :D So I'll be around here almost all day ;) I'll think of something (at least I hope so :)) how can start.

    Hi prowler,

natürlich können wir uns duzen mein Freund :)

Your german is quite good prowler :thumbsup Oh and I completely agree with the MasterCard quote for owning an Amiga. I only have a A500 (until now ;)), but I plan to get a A1200 with all the candy (CF, Indivision, accelerator card) if I find one for a decent price :) Even if I use WinUAE and really like it, a real Amiga is something different and I'm looking forward to the day I can fire up a registered WHDLoad on a real A1200 :D

Yeah, DH is really good and I like his understatement ;) The desktop backgrounds and the new EAB logo look really cool :) It's always interesting to see what he makes with Photoshop and he even got the Lemmings on Titanic picture done :D Just amazing that guy!

Yeah 64x64 isn't much, but you see that it's not impossible to choose something that fits and looks good :) Just look at DHs avatar and how much he has put into it ;) Starts to look a bit crowded don't you think? :D
