    Hi Mark,

interesting! And thanks for sharing your tunes. I'll definitely come back for technical details, if I may.
I'll now do some checks with Amiga Octamed and see if the older replay codes make a difference or if it's a feature of the editor (yay, Protracker deja vu :-).
From what I see at first glance, it seems the synth code does have changed bit by bit from each modplayer (mmd0) over proplayer (mmd0/mmd1) to the recent proplayer.s (which I found on Aminet)

Which Program did you use to export the mp3s? Amiga Octamed?

Another of my technical boundary-testing tracks that never play correctly...

I can remember the hours I spent making this! Again, sounds pretty rubbish now, but back then I felt I'd made a breakthrough :-)

I also made other Atari POKEY and YM/Spectrum AY emulating songs that don't play the white noise parts in any replayer to this day... we could have a very technical conversation about this if you're interested enough :-) Let me know..

Hi there, thanks for taking an interest! I'm only just returning to all of my old stuff after 25 years so memory is not so great. So much of what I made back then turned out to be non-standard and unfriendly to replayers. Here's one of my MED songs emulating the Atari 8-bit POKEY (Rob Hubbard's Jet Set Willy theme) that, to this day, still only plays correctly within the editor:

Lots of my other songs have messed up notes when played with Deliplayer, very embarassing to spread them knowing many people won't hear them correctly.

The main issue is with my tracks that I deliberately made to push the boundaries, inventing a flange style (which I don't think anyone else ever used) but they will never sound the same twice because of the technique:
