how many "memory" clones do you know?

i'm looking for a pd memory game, you know the ones where you should make pair of symbols, one that i've seen 10 years ago on a magazine. it had black background, scalable game area (to set difficulty) and the tiny tiles were outlined in red or blue.
oh yeah! it workrd under WB.
has someone any clue on that?
thank you!

Marco, things I like about this thread. Even after 2 and a half years you are were still looking for memory games and the fact that you just missed out on a crap joke in the title, you should have tried;
'how many "memory" clones do you remember?'

Did you ever find any of these games mate?

so, after 2 years more, i'm asking again if you know some pair match game to help me find the one i look for.

what i remember:
  • Pair match / memory game
  • black background
  • PD/shareware game
  • worked under Workbench , probably Workbench 1.3
  • the pairs consisted in little squared icons with a little graphic inside: flowers, symbols etc.

can you help me? thanks again!

@Dizzy: i guess i want to match with a pair of naked women...

@s2325: no, it's a stand alone game, but thanks

@Magno Boots: this one is very close to the game i search, but it's not the one: the menu was more incospicuous, i think, and the tiles had more distance between them. the icons were different. but thanks for the suggestion, it looks like a nice game and i'll try it.

s2325, thanks for the interesting game suggestion, but no, it's a pd/shareware game, and it's way more alike Amigatration, if even more spartan anyway.

thanks for keeping alive this thread!

I wrote one in Blitz using WinUAE 0.8.8 once, dunno if it worked on a real Amiga though as I never tried it!

it's available as an adf here http://coagulus.newport.net/c1/downs.html

[edit] whoops, just realised this wasn't a thread about naming known pair matching games! I'm afraid I've no idea what that game that you're looking for was.

There's a game called Pick Out on Assassins disk 10, worth a look perhaps?
