I'm curious: what are the criteria for freeware games to be included in HOL? Because obviously not every game on eg. the Fish Disks, let alone Aminet, is in HOL.

Well from my experience, any PD game can be added to HOL, as long as someone takes the time to get the data/images etc. I've submitted quite a lot of info and pictures for PD/Shareware games and they've all been added.

They just aren't a priority.

Catacomb - dbs attached, info below

Author: Peter Gage
He doesn't credit anyone else for music/gfx etc.

Players: 1
HD Installable: Yes
License: Shareware
Version: 1.6 (The Latest version as of 02/01/1992), there may be newer versions but I've not found one. Manual doesn't mention any older versions either.

Notes:
The game is available on Fred Fish Disk 666

The address to send money to states "Peter Gage, Cornerstone Software"

The manual mentions two other games by Peter Cage: Feeding Frenzy & Intrepid.

Last one for the day...

This time "The Intrepid"

Author: Peter Gage, again a sole project. Again it's "Cornerstone Software"

Says that the game was made using "The Director", it's a very similarly structured game to Catacomb so that may have been made using the same tool.

Players: 1
HD Installable: Yes
Version: V1.5 (Latest version as of 1/20/1992)
Says Copyright 1991 all over the docs so was probably first released in 1991.
License: Shareware

Looks like they've all been added now, including one I didn't post about! - Zerberk (http://hol.abime.net/5712)

I couldn't find any decent information on Omega to pass on so that's been left out.

Huzzah!
