Right, this has been driving me mad for ages, as I thought the name was "Extreme Violence" but it turns out that was another game. But its similar. The game I am thinking off had 2 bases player one in the top left, player 2 in the bottom right, which was just walls with 2 doors which only let you in. It was also decent graphics unlike EV, and it was set in like a jungle, where you could collect weapons etc, and there was less fredom to move around unless you blew stuff up.

There was also a robot which was near invincible trying to kill both of you (lol) which made it all the more ammusing.

I really want to find this game, because for a mates party a few years back I took my amiga and this and it was a HUGE hit.

It may even have been PD, I dont know :mad

Oh well, all help appreciated.

Hmm, the only game I could think of is Cabal (http://hol.abime.net/?id=2906).

I don't think it's Cabal or Line Of Fire, as these aren't top down shoot-'em-ups...

Well, HOL doesn't have that game (because PD/SW games are usually not listed) but I found an EV site of the original programmer (http://www.geocities.com/simesgreen/ev/)!

Isn't Google wonderful! :D
Having the picture before your very eyes, this might ring more bells with you guys trying to find the game! :)

Remeber, the game looks alot better than that though, so dont go looking for really crap shooter things.

Arg, if my Amiga HD wasnt dead I could see. Can PC's read Amiga formatted HDs?

Ooooooo this is soooooo frustrating....

Nope, not crackdown, it had more colours, making things look textured, so it must have been AGA.

@TOSEC:
Please include the original ADF from Rocten Interactive (http://www.rocten.com/released.htm) into the database as well! (crc = 2eef5535)

Nice find with that site btw, though the second disk can only be used when running it from workbench...
