We re-opened ALE, Saturday the 4th August with the first batch of reviews and a slightly new layout.

Thanks to everyone who replied, ALE will get bigger again and those that want to submit reviews should follow these guidelines to make things easier for me:

Please read carefully.

When reviewing games there are a few things we need:

1) 2 screen shots at 640x480 named something like:
nameofgame-ingame-1-big.gif (GIFs are smaller)
2) 2 screen shots at 160x120 named something like:
nameofgame-ingame-1.gif

The review itself can just be a notepad file or Wordpad file with the following headings:

[ Introduction: ]

Talk about the game, any background info etc.

Graphics:

Talk about the graphics, animation, colours.

Sound:

Talk about the music, sound quality and how active it is.

Gameplay:

How does the game actually feel and play? any problems in the game that spoil the gameplay - mention it here.

Once you've done that you can score each of the above out of 5 with a suitable comment to go along side them, e.g.

Graphics: 5/5 - brilliant colours and animation!

Zip all that up and send it to: mc_wildstyle@yahoo.com and I'll convert it to match the layout with your name clearly printed.

You can also review the games we have already reviewed, two opinons are better than one.

Well - I've heard nothing from the author he/she doesn't answer emails so I guess either the project is dead or in hybernation. He/She will get a shock when they realise the changes at ALE.

I've downloaded the review, working on HTML conversion today and I'll either upload it tonight or sometime tommorow - depending on how much free time I actually have.
