Are these from Italian mags? If so, we probably need them all...

If you are interested in ANY italian adverts, I have TONS of them!
I hope to don't spend the rest of my life in scanning amiga adverts! :)

Well, we probably need MOST of the ads you mentioned, but I know I scanned some from my CV+G and CUA mags so I will peruse your list in a bit and post the results for you. As for Italian ads, those are quite obscure (for the rest of us) so if you have enough adverts to scan to fill up, I dunno, a half a lifetime, then I will be ecstatic. ;)

:)
So, now, tell me what (english) adverts you need, then, I'll try to upload something...
But, the italian adverts are different only for the description of game (obviously in italian) and the currency price (Lire instead of Dollars), the rest is identical...
Are you a collector? :) It could be the same for French, Detusch, Spainish (and so on) ads?
Ah... keep in mind to tell me how the scans should be (resolution, format, etc..)

I wonder why Gauntlet was never released for the Amiga...because is it was an Atari game perhaps?

Here's:
3D Pool (alternate)
After Burner (alternate, sorry the pic is a little "shitty", i had to paste two pages together)
Ultimate Golf
...
And I've inserted two scans of a game never released... Renegade 3 (Italian and UK adverts).
In the Zone. Tell me if the pics are ok for you.
P.S. : i noticed that the zip is a bit too large, maybe. Where I'm wrong?

OK, I added the new stuff to HOL (Renegade III (http://hol.abime.net/?id=4383) and 3D Pool (http://hol.abime.net/?id=2355)); I think you might have misread my links above, though, as those are the ones already in HOL, so the Afterburner and Ultimate Golf ads are already there (don't feel bad...I already processed them, then found that I couldn't use them...) But the 3D Pool ad was different than the one we already had, so it was cool to get the wider release version of the advert.
Incidently, if you look at the 3D Pool ad you can see some text bleeding through from the back of the page...if you use a sheet of black paper underneath it, that should absorb most instances of this trace effect.

I must become blind! I can't understand, really, I don't know what I was looking at. Sorry!
But.. sizes are correct?
In a couple of days I'll re-scan that 3Dpool ad and some italian ads, just to begin!...

That will be killer! Only other suggestions I would make would be (if using Photoshop) to save as Baseline Optimised, rather than Progressive. And if possible, not resized to 640x*, since in the future we may need to do something different with the images (different size, different processing, etc.) and having an original size will be better than having to re-process from the final. (I keep the master scans stored on CD for this very purpose/possibility.)

I inform you I finally found some time to scan italian adverts of amiga games.
I'll send them in "packs", a little at a time.
Check out The Zone in the next two weeks! ;)
I've found an old scan of Gary Lineker Hot Shots. Interested?

Argh!
Here's the things goes very "dirty"...
So, I've made about 200 scans from italian magazines for year 1990 and pre-1990 (Amazing? No, pure masochism! :laughing )
All I've found. And I've not finished yet, more years available... ;)
With a presumably total of more than 100 Mb ("presumably" because first I scan the images in bmp, then I re-arrange them with a graphic-program before saving in jpg... and I've not finished yet... give me just a couple of days...)
The point is:
I don't intend to make hundreds of mini-packs to upload all together in The Zone!
So, Twistin, or you, HOL guys, tell me something about this, contact me privately, give me another address to upload or I send you a burned CD!
It's less complicated and surely faster! :p

We're all very busy right now, so it will probably take a while before all stuff is processed. I'll try to do some of the work this weekend.
