Thing On A Spring (Was: Game with a boy that has springs instead of legs :))

Well, this is not a "name that game" request from me, but from someone registered in GAEB only. I'd also like to get the name of it, so I'm "copying" his description here.
He's desperately seeking a game which everybody thought to be Thing on a spring from the C64. But that's not it.
It's a Jump'n Run featuring a guy who doesn't have legs, but springs instead. And he would keep jumping all the time throughout, and he *might* have had hair on his head.
The game was hard, as he told us, and the guy would apparently move his arms in circles when jumping in a funny way, probably for balancing out the jumps.

Now does anyone recall THIS one?

Wow that sounds like an interesting game. If it was an Amiga game though it sounds a bit far fetched. Not too many of the stranger concept games made it to the Amiga but instead stayed on the C64 and Amstrads as far as I know.

If it is indeed an Amiga game I'd suggest maybe doing a quick search on aminet for PD games as that's probably where you'd find it then.

It reminds me of the C64 game too.. no Amiga reference comes to my mind!

The guy actually had a game in memory with "Amiga level" graphics.
But it actually was the C64 game "Thing on a spring".

As it doesn't belong on EAB, I wouldn't mind someone deleting this thread because I don't see any reason why it should be kept.
