Anyone have this old-skool adventure game? I'd really like to get my hands on it. Thanks.

I have read somewhere this game supports only 1 discdrive. If this is true one must be a true disc-wizard. They must be kidding, right?
Playing the adventure Indy 4 - Fate of Atlantis which also came on 11 discs but supported multiple drives was already an insane undertakement.:eek

I'm pretty positive that it supports multiple drives. The best thing would be to install it to hard disk.

space ports don't like ppl directly linking files from other servers, so you must go through the site [ http://hermes.spaceports.com/~kingdom/frame_english.html ]
or set your downloader "GetRight" to fake the referer by generating it from the download url..

or alternatively you can d/l it from me [ http://sane.myip.org/Flight_of_the_Amazon_Queen.zip ]

and the game does support multiple drives..

Not that spectacular, for the thread is older than a year.

LeChuck's ADF site has it,though I haven't personally tested it. I know it got good reviews etc., but was it really THAT good?
How did it compare to the classic Lucasarts Amiga/PC stuff like the Monkey Island games,Sam & Max,D.O.T.T. etc?

For not being a Lucas game, it's pretty nice really!

Pretty nice. Never got it working on an Amiga and never played it much on my PC. But what I saw of it it seems fairly nice.

Been there, got the babe; Indy eat your heart out, Guybush just aint in it, makes King of the Rocket Men look soft.

Plays a lot like Monkey Island, but with the 30's adventure serial style - square jawed hero saves babe, mechanic and Amazonian blond jungle babe tribe AND defeats the nasty nazis in one fell swoop...... lots of fun all round.

I don´t know why, but I like the amiga version more. :D It seems to be quite difficult to get the german version. Does it really exist is the question?

I loved FAQ, I only played the Amiga version although I know there's a PC CD version with speech. I had a chance to chat for a while with the Greek creator Steve Stamatiadis a couple of years ago in the adventures newsgroup.
