I was wondering if anyone knew where to buy in Argentina, especially Capital Federal, things like: amiga 500 15 pin to VGA adapter, double density disks, etc...

Thanks !

Wow! Another argentinian!! Como va? :D

Unfortunately, in BA, there's only one or two shops where you can get Amiga stuff. Let's start with Amiga Power (or whatever is left of it). What's the problem, you may be wondering? They are:

- Thieves
- Expensive
- Cheaters
- Did I say thieves?

Avoid like the PLAGUE specially if some of your Amiga equipment breaks down. Most people would recommend you to go to Amiga Power. DON'T! They will fuck up your Amiga even worse.

Option #2 would be Valente Computacion... Problems with Valente Computacion:

- Thieves
- Liars
- Thieves again

Prices are STUPID, but at least they don't scam you with faulty material or destroy your broken machine. If you want to give them a try, the address is Rodriguez Peña 466 (between Corrientes & Lavalle). Go find out about prices, and if the guy starts talking about how he knows Dino Dini, and that he is a PS2 scener, do not pay attention. As I said, they like to lie! Just try to run away as soon as possible :D

What is your best option then? http://www.mercadolibre.com.ar or http://argentina.deremate.com ... Some prices ARE STUPID but sometimes you also find bargains!

If there's any further help you might need, don't hesitate to email me. You could contact me by phone if needs be, I'll be happy to help you out.
