The A600 has RGB and RCA video outputs and a built-in RF modulator. If your TV has an SCART connector then you can build an RGB cable if not, use the RF output.

It is in the US$ 40-45 range... The biggest problam is that Brazillian e-bay is not so big... there are quite a few offers so prices keep higher than they should... but if I ever try to buy in US or UK the shipping charge would kill me :)

Part of the problem here is also the exchange rate, now that it is almost 4 to 1 (thanks to the elections). I loved when it was one to one, about 6 years ago.

Shipping cost is also huge, I suppose, and I think I would have to pay high taxes (import tax) on the total... this is prohibitive.

@Akira, did you pay any tax in Argentina when you bought your computers?

On a side note, the A600 has just arrived. I thought it was really strange as it has a "Ç" key (portuguese sign). Then I've found I had a brazilian A600, built here by a company called PCI.
This is great, but I still want an original!!!!!

About shipping and taxes... shipping IS expensive for very heavy items, but when we ere 1 to 1, I could bring something like a Spectrum+3, without PSU, from the UK, for 50 dollars (this including the auction's end price). About taxes... customs here SUCK, I bet in Brazil too... but I only paid for items twice... You have to know how to get the items shipped, and how to sweettalk the custom agents :D

Actually I believe most Amigas that are for sale in Mercadolivre are PCI Amigas. Remember that A1200 link I've posted? look at the box and you will see the PCI logo on it.

PS note: A rare computer I would like to put my hands on is that brazilian Mac 512 clone, as I was told this was the only clone in the whole world, and quite a few were sold (the US forced us to stop selling it)

If you'll get a mouse, get official amiga mice (black) from power computing! They are the best mice I've used on amiga, or better get a ps/2 adapter but official amiga mice are light and useful :) Two are just for £9.95 at the moment!!!
