Hound of shadow

I was wondering how to get the game Hound of shadow working. It seems like a good game. I've gotten as far as creating a character now, but then the problems arise because the game asks for the User disk which I don't seem to have.

I tried to format a standard disk in Workbench for use with the game, but due to a bug (I guess) I forgot in WinUAE it crashes as soon as WinUAE tries to change the data of a disk.

I browsed through the 2 disks using workbench and saw that there were 2 files which could be character files, unfortunately since the game won't even try to look at the disk because it needs the user disk I'm not even able to load the chars from there.

Could someone help me please?

I had the same problem, but I can't remember the exact answer. I'll have to look at my copy to check it.

I think I have a third ADF which can be used a character disk.

Thanks I found the answer. It would seem disk B is a User creation disk. If you boot from it you can create a user disk and WinUAE 8.8 doesn't have the crashing problem the newest one has.

Now I just need to figure out if you are to wait after the first picture ingame is loaded or if the game's frozen.

Were there other games in this series? looking through the sample characters (I assume they are) I saw the name of two other things which could be scenarios. I recognized the horror of dunwich as a H.P. Lovecraft shortstory if I'm not mistaken.
