I'd like your opinion on some games I know nothing about (genre & whether you like them or not, basically anything you can tell me). Their hd versions are available at TomTom's, but I'd like to hear what you have to say about them before I download them:

Biing (AGA & ECS)
Marvin's Marvellous Adventure CD32
Master Axe AGA
Oldtimer AGA&ECS
Out to lunch AGA
Pinkie
Reeder
Robinson's Requiem AGA
Sarakon Virgin

Thanks in advance.

Dizzy told me about this one in IRC last night.

It's apparently some wierd German hospital game that has lots of sexual content - sounds good to me ;)

I RAR'ed all the 18 disks for him, but it's still like 14.5 meg !

Pinkie is a platformgame in the same league as Robobod and numerous similar titles. You control a cute pink sprite through many platform-levels. The levels can be selected by moving the sprite on a map which is simlar to Mc Donalds Land and Mr Nutz.A short trivia note: when this game was released way back in 1994, its publisher Millenium also released a CD single called ‘Pinkie’ which went straight to the Top Ten list in the UK Charts.
Oddly enough, I have never played the Pinkie game.

Robinson's Requiem AGA

Is an RPG set in the future
You crash land on an alien planet and have to survive and find a way to escape
Given 75% in Amiga Computing
Never played it but it looked good at the time

Marvin's Marvellous Adventure CD32

I find this game to be brill. 100% unadultered 80s style platforming FUN. It looks nice and sounds ok, but it plays very well. Of course, it has one of the typical platformer drawbacks: it gets repetitive after a while :P I still think this is a bloody great game.

Master Axe AGA
Absolute POOP. I thought this game was good, read some previews, all teh hype... I dloaded it off TomTom's... I was ready for a blast... OMG! What a fucking piece of bland turd!! Avoid.

Out to lunch AGA
back into good ole pplatform fun. This is back to basics again, much like Marvin. I recommend it very much :D

Ok, I was about to write about Pinkie too but I _never_ gave it enough playtime to judge it properly.

Master Axe:
Absolute pile of brown substance. Stay away. Mortal Kombat wannabe.

Robinson's Requiem:
Unlike other Silmarils games in game graphics are 3d-ish and look ugly, this one is original at the first sight though. Worth to have a look.

I´ve player Marvin Marvellous Adventure once, it seemed to be a very nice platform game.

Pinkie is not like Robocod, is much more puzzle based. Yeah, it has the usual jump ´n´ run stuff, but you have to solve lots of puzzles too. Very nice.

Out to Lunch, I only played the SNES version. If the Amiga version is alike, then it´s a FANTASTIC game, that I can recommend you anytime. One of the best plataform games I ever played.

Der Reeder is a game like Ports of Call, just a bit more options and maybe not quite so addictive but worth a look if you like such games :)
